Common questions

Do I need an account? Yes. Daily Quotes uses an account so your favorites, streaks, and history sync to you and stay available on every device. You can sign in with Google, Apple, or email.

Will my favorites show up on my other device? Yes — sign in with the same account on each device and your favorites, streaks, and history sync automatically through your account.

I’m not getting my daily reminder. Open Settings in the app, turn on notifications, and allow the system permission when asked. You can pick the time the reminder arrives.

My streak reset. A streak counts the consecutive days you open the app, using your device’s local time. Missing a full day resets it — your longest streak is still kept.

The widget or Dynamic Island isn’t updating. Open the app once to refresh it. The widget reads the latest quote and streak from the app, so a quick launch brings it up to date.

How do I change the language or theme? Go to Settings → Language or Theme. Both can follow your system setting or be set manually.

How do I delete my data? Most of your data lives on your device — sign out or uninstall to remove it. To delete your sign-in account, see the Privacy Policy and the Delete account page.

  3. What you did and what you expected.
